Nanci Franco Luin

The church of San Miguel de Santo Domingo de Heredia, called La Castilla, is the theme in this painting.

I am a student of Gisela Stradtmann, distinguished watercolorist in Costa Rica. 2004 I began painting lessons with José Miguel Yglesias. Three years later I took drawing lessons with Luis Paulino Delgado. March 2009 I attended a watercolor workshop in Mexico with Mel Stabin.
I was born in San José, Costa Rica. I worked as Statistician for 30 years in different state institutions. 2003 I retired and a few months later I began to study painting. Soon I found out I loved watercolor. I have made three solo art shows.
